I am looking to buy my 13 year old son a Unicycle for Christmas, he is a good road and track rider, but I know nothing about what to look for in a unicycle, or even where to buy one from. I am loathe to give my hard earned to the nutters portraying themselves as "Mr Juggles" and the like on Fleabay.

I know nothing about them, but I know what size road bike he has (48cm) and I know the saddle to BB distance etc, should it be the same on a Uni ??

Also, anyone got one they are selling mayhaps ??

Yep, an SLR XP in white, 180gm I think, perfect condition, just put on the bike, but with a white bike and white bar tape, its all closing in and getting a bit much !!!

£69 from Chain Reaction, it is literally as new, not a mark on it, how does £50 posted sound ?

No its not fixed, but it can be, I've had one converted and its brill. But anyway, a very well loved and ride worn Lava Dome, not one for the concours but a great workmanlike beastie. Purply blue in colour, v-brake only (although you can get disc tabs brazed on.

The size is 17" c2c seattube and 23" c2c toptube, the 20" comes from the full length of the seattube from centre bb to the absolute tiptop bit of the seattube.

Punches hard through singletrack and is unbreakable. Its rough and ready, could do with a respray, but its like a gundog, just always there. Its just too big for me.

These are brilliant shoes, I have had a pair of the MTB version for years and they are good as new. Bargain of the first water.

Should have stuck with the 'dale, miles better than the Allez IMHO.

Sidi sizing is completely random, I am a standard 43 but take a 46 in sidi. Makes me feel like a big swinging dick with clown feet though. All good.
