I work exactly where your accident took place and have had several run ins with black cab and taxi drivers. I have been using one of these for the last few months on the days I dont need a rucksack. Its worked out pretty good, enough room for keys, phone, toolkit etc and enough spaces for a pair of jeans and trainers. Mine had a few too many extra outside pockets which I removed with a scalpel. If you dont mind a 2 week delivery time from the other side of the world then its a good price too. Very comfortable to wear and not intrusive to my riding.

That's appauling behaviour, its hard to believe one human can treat another this way. Driving or riding on the streets of London is slowly decaying into anarchy. Road users manners and decentcy has all but gone. I hope you heal up quick and this bellend gets his just desserts. I find it kind of embarassing to admit I am a plumber and drive a van too. We aren't all inconsiderate pigs.

I saw a guy the other night whilst out in my van riding towards me with both hands close to the stem. As I went past I realised it was a geared racer with cut down risers and only a front brake.

Certainly cyclists need some sort of training/education for riding on the road. I have just returned from a drive into my office in central London. I couldn't believe how many riders there were with no lights. Helmets, hi vis vests but no lights??? What is that all about? I know its an old moan but to me as a rider and a driver lighting is a real basic requirement for safety, even in town.
