The best price I can see with the train/ferry/train option is £102.50 (train to Newhaven rtn, £26, ferry with bike, no seat res. £31.50, train Dieppe to Paris rtn, £45). It also includes a 5 hour wait in Dieppe for the ferry on the way back as the Sunday trains are shit.
Anyone find a better deal? If not, I’m paying the extra and taking the eurostar. I’d rather take the Friday off and have a day in Paris, maybe see if we can play some games.

Anyone want to try the court near Fraudway Market on Thursday night?
We're planning to get some league team practice in, if anyone else is up for it.

good luck playing 3 games here on sat...* *
hmmm. At what point do we review the rule about not using de beauvoir and everyone having different courts?
I think the ideal scenario would be each team just nominates North (de beauvoir) or South (the Southies car park) and on Thursdays and Saturdays they're primarily used for league games? It would guarantee more games to watch and more support.
Just something to keep in mind - i'm just not sure having so many different courts is going to make for good spectator numbers.

This court by Broadway Market has lights.
http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=51.536368,-0.062868&spn=0.001201,0.002414&t=h&z=19
I spoke to the local estate manager who said the lights should be on every night and if they’re not, they can reset them remotely or call out an engineer. They seemed really helpful.
It’s not perfect; there’s a low rail down one side, but it doesn’t seem dangerous. It needs a sweep out, as there’s debris in it at the moment, but other than that it’s pretty good.
Shin, can you add it to the map? It has a bit of grafitti which says ‘The Pit’, which names it.
We can maybe play it one night next week, and if it works, we’ll use it as a home court.

850mm? WTF? My frame is longer than that.
