found on a yoga internet forum:
*Totally outside of yoga and I had sofar success in all 6 cases I worked with. Knees refer to the ego, usually people with knee problems have a problem with a stubborn ego and pride, they won't give in or they are very inflexible in their attitude towards something or somebody. All of this is usually based in fear and if you can help the person to discover the root of all of this fear and with the help of gentle yoga asanas, I find that the knee problem becomes somthing of the past. I like to include more of the triconoasanas to increse the flexibility in the knee joints, but very slow and only a few at a time. *

Reminds me of this event at Jamyang, 43 Renfrew Road, SE11 4NA.
Ali is the best cook ever, FACT!
Sunday 20 March
All You Knead is Love
Wholesome bread-making with Alison Waldegrave and Katherine Hallewell
11am - 3pm (maximum 15 participants)
£30
It is a simple fundamental truth that fresh baked bread is essential to nourish body and soul, and in many cultures it is sacred. Nature has done most of the work for us, so by choosing the best and tastiest ingredients you can bake very simply and achieve extraordinary results. On the day we will create an exquisite range of breads using traditionally milled flours, such as spelt, paragon and einkorn. We put aside the scales and measuring spoons to work with our hands; mixing and kneading to create our own recipes.
Bring your favourite apron then touch, taste, smell and indulge in the pleasure of preparing and sharing simple food.
Ali and Kath are fun engaging hugely talented bakers who are gifted with an infectious enjoyment in making good wholesome bread. Come along for the best learning/ entertainment experience in town! -

I think too many people are too interested in setting a moral code by which they think everyone else should abide by, getting all offended on behalf of a third party. In life the only thoughts and behaviour you can truly control is your own, so all you can do is set an example by living out the values you hold dear. Do what you think is right in the context of your own experience. I didn't even know about this shitty matter until Multi Grooves pointed it out.
spot on.

@Jaygee. I went to the craft shop this morning and got lots of little pony badges. I have done most of your jerseys and about to attack the legs of your bibs. You're going to be sooo happy!

@Mark, walking a dog in the park is also a privilege, not a right.

King's Speech was great, great, great. I haven't enjoyed a film so much in a long time. The whole film brings so much empathy when the Duke of York/George VI struggles to put 2 words together. The guy sitting next to me had his head in his hands every time there was a speech, he was so tense.
Colin Firth rocks, you guys know nothing.
Has anyone seen Des hommes et des dieux (of gods and men)? It is apparently an amazing film.

I don't like blinking front lights either; I think they make it more difficult to pinpoint the riders speed and movement and therefore more difficult to track them and predict where they are going. I am not sure being mistaken for a scooter rider is a good thing either.
I really can't tell how bright/not bright my light is to other road users. Does anyone? How can you check apart from reading reviews from people who have bought lights and never seen what it looks like either! And there will be some part of a commute that will require less bright, medium bright, super bright. I have also noticed that I don't always see cyclists when they are alongside or in front of a car for example, the car lights being so much stronger. And helmet lights, I find them quite useless in traffic.
