I wanted the original poster to have a chance to confirm what he did in fact have on his rear wheel, no malice in what I posted at all ........... it is a common mistake to make, to wrongly call a sprocket block a cassette or freehub. What I said about RPM was meant in fun ........ really meant in fun only
You just had to join in and start trouble based on what ??? your vast experience in bike building and maintenance ???In future please try not too be too clever and consider for a minute that not everyone who posts here has been riding for years, knows a crank extractor from a cup removing tool or a two pin freewheel tool from a headset spanner. They just might need to be led by the hand for a little while.

No I am not trying to start an argument
and I was not rude !!"Newbie" as in new to the forum and new to converting a bike
I stand totally with RPM being incorrect in his advice and description
You obviously know your stuff so when was the last time you saw a 5 speed "FREEHUB" because my friend they are like rocking horse shit
-
I am very rarely rude or offensive but you are.... frequently.
If you are going to give advice to a newbie try to use the correct terms to describe the parts of the wheel/bike he will need to research about before he converts, otherwise he will waste a lot of time and effort before he realises you are in fact talking out of your arse. Now run along and check out the captains web site bicycle glossary again and again until you get it right -

It appears that posting anonymous comments on the web can affect your bank balance

Representing Mr Walls, Hugh Tomlinson QC said Dads Place was responsible for the publication of a "seriously defamatory, abusive and scurrilous anonymous website" over a two year period until July 2006.
In July 2006, John Baines, the main administrator of the website, also admitted his involvement and being employed by Mr Finn.

Story
A female cyclist has been stabbed to death in the Anfield area of Liverpool in a "vicious and brutal" attack.
Police said she was riding a bicycle on Whitfield Road on Friday night when a car pulled up alongside her and an argument broke out with its occupants.Witnesses reported that she rode off but the car followed and on Woodville Terrace two women got out, pulled her from her bike, and she was stabbed.
Merseyside Police are trying to find out the victim's identity.

BringMeMyFix "You're too skinny, too puny to be a sprint cyclist."' In a sport that requires explosive moments of acceleration, the men and women have always been physically imposing: short limbs, huge muscles and necks like fire hydrants. Lined up against her opponents, the now 27-year-old Pendleton - lithe, petite and unashamedly feminine - looks entirely out of place.
^Sounds familiar. You can keep your steroids - I like being lithe, petite, and unashamedly feminine :)

Me and my friend ........well partner really, we are both commited single speeders ( been an item for 5 years now ) and we wondered whether it is possible for us to get some advice on adopting a BMX. I am certain we could show it the love and respect it would get with a straight couple and give it a happy caring environment in which to develop its own choices in years to come
