purple mj rides the titanium condor, and rides it damn well. good work as well cliveo, good to have you out there
got it now, nice to meet you both, Cliveo and Mr purple mittens.
@ Fiddy, just can't believe you made it to Cycle Show after stopping to pick up your dropped baccy. I'm guessing there's a strong likelyhood you'll roll up to South drinks on something brand new which weighs less than the (big wad) of notes you paid for it? ;)

I meant people I hadn't met before!!
most of them were austalian, I think[/quote]
The Aussie brothers are Gavin and Anthony not to be confused with Ant and the other Aussie Gavin, already known here. Props for the stripey socks, Gavin.
Who is it with the tasty titanium Condor? Cliveo?
Ant, it turns out I was routing for entirely the wrong medic. The 'real doctor' had a plastic bike...and a cosmic screwdriver.

Great day out, folks. Excellent photos, Sam, Ant and Pilky. I have never spectated so exhaustively before. Matt and Dale -you did seriously well to get up those hills in those times...But what to say when a thirteen-year old showed you a clean pair of heels?
Let it be known I completed both courses, (albeit walking two thirds) but ahead of a certain urban rider with an inappropriate front wheel. It's down to the Arrospokesman himself to account for his actions! -

I'm still on for Thurs, Jim. 7.0 Roehampton Gate. It will be the fixed machine so I won't be flying, but should be able to get in a couple of laps..bringing my BRIGHT lamps to give those complacent deer some reason to lift their heads.
Shame you're out, Paul and Gus, -Hope to see some of you others in RP or at Westies after.

I've just done this ride guys- really enjoyed it. I'd like to have ridded out with you tonight, but I've got stuff on, so snuk out this pm instead. I got properly wet mind. Door to door from my place in the Sarf took 1 hour 50 something.(56km) I 'd say it was about an hour around the route itself (24km) Never been to Muswell HIll and couldn't believe it when I saw Chris Hoy on Muswell Hill Broadway (albeit a lifesize papier mache mannekin in an optomerist's window- complete with cardboard medals!) ok the route does Archway road up and down, but downhill on the dual carriageway is pretty good. Skiddeds down Shepherds Hill on a classic combination of fallen leaves and smooth, wet tarmac-and I don't do skids. WAtch out for suv's ubiquitous in Hampstgate and avoid the 'speed-bump strips down East Heath road; keep to the smooth on the left to avoid 'over stimulation'.
Just wish I could be flaked out at the Flask right now waiting to see you lot pop-up fresh-faced out the top of Swain's lane.

Just had the best time of my adult life (well probably) today on the treasure cat, at the urban shorts screening and at the Slaughterere lamb. Thanks so much to Laura, Jacqui, and all the other Bff organisers. Not to mention Scott for his brilliant Archies grobag prize. And Jamie, my riding partner you were fucking ,'awesome.
At this moment I AM the slaughtere lamb. /Everyone enjoy the polo and film tomorrow. /something very special is happenbng here... blub

I'm up for a Friday night, Emilia. Will be coming from work and can bring some refreshment. Was out a couple of times this week around Central South on surprisingly tranquil roads. Want to see if I can better my highest ever fox-count of nine.
Will be on Docklands ride this Sat too.
Pajamas- forgot to ask you at West Drinks, you up for this?
-
Brilliant West drinks again and time to nominate Fiddy for the Top Breakless Grandpop Award!
It warmed my heart to see you back in the community Fiddy and living by the guru words 'Ride hard Ride fast' when you could have been forgiven for bailing it and walking.
Even the Sloanes seemed to latch onto the bike beauty of it all...including the birth of a new TT ...which I don't have to contest 'cos Billy of the HIlls has already claimed the title... (though Prav can hop circles better than him).
Oh, and very decent of you, Mr Superprecise to schedule your b'day to coincide with next week's West Drinks.
