hell no pajamas, i am rubbishly unfit but like a challenge, i wont be doing it fixed, i think singlespeed will be the answer...just because downhill fixed on gravel spells disaster for me. the 75k route is looking more and more appealing too, it just looks like a fantastic ride! (and an excuse to grow a handlebar moustache)

yup. i might run nobby 2inch tyres and balloon slicks for when its road only, if its going to be a tourer (want to do italy) then some tyres with a lot of air will smooth out the ride and be better when i have panniers on

aww. thats the problem, i don't have a vintage bike but doing it fixed i think is enough of a challenge, i am not going to do the 205km one though! i was think the 135km would be enough

yeah, no more than 20 i would say, need to find a good balance... i am not a wealthy man so wil be saving up/collecting pieces for a while, ezra isnt starting the build till october and i don't expect delivery till christmas (with a trip to new york chucked in)
