Growing family! want to move house next year as we have a second kid coming in October, I can get £17.5k for mine as a running project (there is always a list of jobs on a G), put £10k in the bank and spend a few grand on a cheap and cheerful luxury 4x4 with space for all the crap I lug around. I'll miss the 300 horses the most but 'needs must' and all that.

Well ASFAIK it's not strictly a copy of a droz, EPSA didn't make watches, just the cases and the outer dial, the unique part is the movement, inner dial and hands. Some brands changed the inner dial too but Longines specifically only made the top arrow hollow, hardly a significant change.
I maybe prefer the Helson as it doesn't have the date and the 'cock' hour hand is a little less obvious, and it doesn't have the script 'AUTOMATIC' type.

It's not really Longines design either, they just stuck there own hand design and added some minute markers on the bought-in EPSA case. I'd rather have an original navy issue ones, maybe a Droz or an Enicar. Obvs the JLC Polaris with the added alarm is the holy grail though!

well it's rrp £2800, They sell in shops for £2100
https://www.chronext.co.uk/nomos/tangente/131/S2278
and used ones are rare for £1600+ (rarely) I think i'd like £1150 given that the service will be £300 (but you'll get a case polish and effectively a new watch)
I'm off home at lunch so i'll see what other ones I can part with - maybe a max bill and a timefactors diving watch
-
I just did my experian report and discovered i'm in way more debt than I thought! oops!
I need to sell some stuff - first to go i think we be a nomos tangents gangreserve - keeping perfect time at the moment but last service was 3+ years ago and they recommend 3-5 years so I will factor in new service price for sale - anyone interested? DM me if so...
