I had the previous generation E Class estate and it gave me back ache due, I think, to the offset wheel which twisted me in the seat - on that basis I’d recommend checking whatever model you look at for the position in which it puts you. Other than that, mine (2016 E63) was a great car, lots of room, plenty of poke etc.

What I would be concerned about would be the shock load of the impact being transferred into the suspension and related struts and control arms- if for example you had your foot on the brakes when you were hit.
It’s a pain, but I’d want to get the vehicle up in the air with a good mechanic looking over the chassis to ensure that nothing got tweaked.

Thanks to JB for sorting out the "how to order Cane Creek when not in the US" conundrum, 40% off EE Wings cranks is significant.
They'll go on the Jibb v2 that is now on its way - I ordered Large to replace my current XL as the trails here are fairly slow speed and involve a lot of tight uphill, technical turns - and Raaw wanted me on an L in the first place, so interested to see how that turns out.
I opted for the raw aluminium finish, which is going to make it look like I have three of the same bike, but I do prefer that to the flat black.
UDH hanger, but likely going to transfer my existing kit over using a UDH hanger rather than springing for Transmission, certainly at first.

Cracked software - whilst the cracker may be doing so for purely altruistic motives it's such an open goal for threat actors, who can crack the protection and bundle in their infostealer of choice and have a queue of people who wish to install it, and will ignore security warnings that might crop up.

Whoever manages the Ingrid social media lost their shit with me saying “I’d be a bit cautious about buying Ingrid as they are very hard to communicate with” on a PinkBike post, rather proving my point.
(I’d tried to buy some cranks from them and they just stopped responding).
