My suspicion would be that Badenoch is going to have a constant battle with Jenrick as the internal Reform candidate for the Tory leadership- if she tries to tack to the centre he will scream betrayal, and he will be constantly working to engineer a fresh leadership challenge based on any sign of wokeness*.

I read an account of this by a job-MAGA Republican, In afraid I forgot who.
She said that it was very similar to the “of course, he’s really Kenyan” the person saying it and the person agreeing with it both knew it wasn’t true, but by pretending it was you were in the in group.
A sign of shared belief almost.

I can’t imagine this forum is much fun to troll - as stated previously, this one doesn’t really seem to have their heart in it. Very lacklustre performance. 3/10
I suspect that this is because it's the same bilge that we've had for the past ten or so years now - and as a mouthpiece for the Internet Research Agency et al they're not coming up with anything of their own, so it all fades into a sort of white noise of the internet, which is what Twitter now largely seems to be.
But they've clearly built their own identity on grievance and jealousy, with no empathy or sense of humanity, so fuck 'em. Self radicalisation seems to be the order of the day for a chunk of our society.

I have been steadily working my way through the entire series - I’m at “caulking” currently.
In terms of the startup, it’s so nebulous at the moment - mainly ideas, some design work, lots of plans. However, one of the local VC fund advisors suggested that we have breakfast earlier this week and proceeded to suggest that he would work with me/for the company for a couple of days a week with a primary focus on raising equity which (once that was achieved) moving to what I’d probably call a COO role, with payment in equity (equity that is only worth something if we are successful).
I admit that the imposter syndrome is coming in waves at the moment.
The sailing has been a pleasant distraction from thinking about cyber security and how to do a small part of it better than anyone else, and of course a great opportunity to speak like a pirate for hours on end.

It will definitely need hauling out, sanding and painting- which given the size and weight is going to be something only a few yards can do.
The cost to get that all done by others is around SG$10,000, which is none trivial, but I can potter about with the other maintenance as it won’t need to get the boat up in the air.
The acknowledged fault list is currently:
- fuel tank breather buggered
Sadly I am not sufficiently an optimist that I would think that that will be the actual list once I get a decent look at the boat.
It’s one of three 51 foot ketches built by Kan Walker in his boat yard (the eponymous Walker Boats) in Geelong, ‘stralia.
Designed for the southern oceans, so the rather anemic winds we usually have here might struggle a little to get the boat up on its toes.

Does anyone have a decent amount of experience about alternator+solar panel based power systems?
If so, what's the go-to, cheap and cheerful whilst also being robust system?
Previously I've put together a solar charging system with Victron stuff, which was straightforward but far from cheap.
Engine under consideration has a 40amp alternator, requires a battery to start it but it's a twin cylinder, 500cc unit so I doubt it's going to take a huge amount of oomph to spin it. Diesel however, so a mental compression ratio if like me you are only really familiar with petrol.
What needs power:
Yes it's a bit of an odd camper, but the principals are very similar I think!
