Pfft. Don't you take away my hope-ium. CJ will be just as good but they will play us differently this year and that will change how the team goes. But saying that, we should have a much more consistent run game which will counter some of that. A full season of Tank Dell will help and a healthier O-line will too. Still a bit worried about our defense, D-line depth and LB in particular.
The Diggs / Bills thing has been a challenge for a while. He wore out his welcome in Minnesota before going to Buffalo so that seems to be his thing. Some are criticising the way we restructured his contract to essentially turn it into a one year deal with us. I think that is a smart move for a talented WR who is 30 can be a complete diva. Cap space is not an issue this year (we still have some $10m left) and he won't be a long term salary cap albatross. They are pushing in the chips for this year and that is fucking exciting to see. I won't recap my 50+ years of life experience with Houston professional football teams. But it is FUCKING EXCITING TO SEE!!!
New redesigned team uniforms at the end of April. Just in time for a visit with the family in May.

Charity Muggers - people who harass you outside of train stations and other public spaces while wearing some cheap plastic branded jacket in an attempt to get you to sign up for a direct debit for the charity.
They have become increasingly aggressive. The ones outside of Farringdon are going to get punched one day.

When we moved to Harrogate in 1980, my mother had some Texas beef sausage spices sent over. She took them to our local butcher and gave them very specific instructions to make sausages: beef only, NO FILLERS, and mix in the spices.
The butcher, horrified, responded with "But madam, why would you want to do that?" and refused to make them.
The food in the UK has come on leaps and bounds from the post-war ration mentality that lasted far longer than people realise.

Sounds good. Never thought about poaching them in the sauce although that is pretty obvious in hindsight. Shame about the fennel. Fennel and chili pork sausages are my desert island sausages.

I don't even know where to start with how much I miss his music. Saw him live twice, once back in H-town and on his last gig in London. I still have the poster from that show at the Borderline hanging up in my office. (Didn't we see Kvelertak at the Borderline with Aram?)
There was a posthumous album released with Jeff Lang (Oz slide guitarist) in 2006: Dislocation Blues. Some really great tracks on that.

That thing where you spend Sunday cleaning your drive train, replacing jockey wheels and replacing pads and rotors to get back to a quiet bike, but you are 1% that knows how to maintain your bike and your entire commute is surrounded by the "WD-40 method" crowd and you can't figure out if your Sunday was well spent.

What kind of light? I have some 3-d printed clamp on mounts that I use for a Dynamo light. Might be of use? Lots of caveats but happy to share if you are willing to give it a go.
