I took tons of photos the other day. They were mostly crap, but I have put a few on my flickr for everyone...

I thought it was really cool to see polo in amongst the more mainstream cycling stands and shops and the rock climbing and stuff. I'm disappointed I left before people started having a go though. We should organise the have a go part better if there's another similar event.. It would be great, if only for the hilarity.

A little clearout here. All goes on ebay soon. Provided I get round to it this time.
1x 26.8 Kalloy Seatpost ... bought from JD. Dyslexia on the size though. So would like what i paid.
£101x Campag Record small flange front hub ... Runs smooth like butter. If someone put nails in the butter, then removed all the butter that is. I re-greased it but it didn't help, it's going to need new bearings and a good service. 32h. See this picture.
£101x Topeak rack. 'Peter and Dave' technically still has dibs, but he hasn't got back to me for like a week and a bit so it's fair game again. See this thread for pictures.
£30I would also like to swap for some things I'm looking for at the moment if by some amazing coincidence someone has one of these and wants one of those...
288mm spokes (32)
25.8 mm seat post
26.4 mm seat post (see the mistake I made when I bought the 26.8?)
25.4 mm seat post and shims for the above
beater wheelsCool.
Also, there is no 'other stuff too'. I have no idea why I wrote that, but I can't work out how to change it now. I might sell you something else if I've got it though. I have a broken rare Rubik's cube. £1,000,000,000,000,000. Posted.

I reckon over 2 months 40 miles a day is a good average. Leaves you time to enjoy the places you visit and maybe take a day off a couple of times.
+1 on as little as possible. Extra weight is bad. My friends I recently went on a weekend tour with had Vango Ultralite tents. They were pricey but I think they weigh 1kg. They were awesome.
Does 2600 miles include that massive bit of sea your going to cover on the way to Sicily?

I can't be bothered to see if anyone's mentioned it over the months since I checked this thread. But my cousin lives in Vancouver in Canada and has been visiting us here recently. He saw my spoke card, and apparently the Tweed Ride over here made the national news over there! Obviously a normal ridiculous occurence for most Londoners though.
