Lovely weekend in Bristol. My favourite was the winter tourer in the corridor with the art deco pin lines ( like an old ephgrave). Thanks to the swrve chap for giving me and my missus such a monstrous discount on the jeans! Also Clifton lido has got to be the nicest city pools ive ever been to.
Interested in the rear spoke. Has it been sprayed blue or was it originally blue? I'm assuming the rear is the one without a visible braking surface. Clinchers?
Thanks
Oh you mean really stuck... I got a total bastard out once by turning the bike upside down clingfilming the hell out of the headset/ stem so it was watertight and then pouring coca cola into the headtube and left it overnight. The next day: bingo!
what jambon said. you don't want to lose the wedge part of the quill in the head tube. Screw the bolt back into the wedge and then hammer the top of the bolt with a rubber mallet or suchlike until the quill comes free. (should only take 1 whack)
That's pretty good going. I killed a rear campag pista hub (2nd hand) in 6 months but to be fair I don't think the snow and in particular the salt and grit on the roads helped....
Not to rain on anyone's parade but these are track hubs. (they don't have sealed cartridges) Ride them on the street in the rain and they will degrade in a hurry. phils are a better bet for the sake of longevity on the roads.

Anyone of a shop in London that stocks NATO straps? Would like to offer up my watch to various colour straps rather than Internet guesswork. Cheers
