^I was told the same thing about mounting fully laden when I was getting measured for the bike. I had no input into geometry decisions as it’s my first tourer, I just said I don’t want to feel stretched when I ride it, as I do with my Plug and did with my Alpinestars and Orange of old.
^^^Is the amount of head tube sticking up above top tube purely an aesthetic thing or are there handling implications? Handling feels fine to me, any wobbles I think are me just getting used to drop bars.
Just searched for the spacer porn thread. Could no find.

I bloody loved the builder who had just knocked a wall through and legged it off to Warrington Hall to queue for a ticket. And the shot of the guys outside that didn't get in. Absolute class. I thought the Q&A would take away some of the magic, I didn't want to know how they made the film, you can have too much Roses...

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to fill in my bike cafe survey, the input has been valuable. If anyone is interested here is a summary of the responses I received through LFGSS (40 responses in 4 days was more than I expected). One of the things I've decided is that I will probably have to rethink the location, no dramas, on with the project. Watch this space.

Interesting thread...
What about having a look at www.escapethecity.org/? They have many events and willing advisors from people who have started up their own thing - many of which are food related.
Just looking at escapethecity now. It looks like a useful resource, have you had any experience with the site?

(cough) Spare ticket for Finsbury Park, tomorrow, if anyone is interested. PM me.
