Watched The Gift last night. Loved it.

Quality. Clearly not as good in real life though, nobody in teh room seems to have noticed.

Too right, a really talented group, nice to have the live strings and horns too.

I also liked how they played their big tunes (for me anyway; Disappointed and Noisy Days are Over) early on, it meant I wasn’t waiting for them and genuinely enjoyed hearing the other songs I didn’t really know.

Field Music last night, Shĕ Bu Empire, brilliant.

Not only were the tunes of a really high standard, it was a joy to not have the gig obscured by a sea of phone screens.

Would recommends.
