NOW SOLD
my mercian is finally back from the repairs shop. so i'm selling my holdsworth frame. it's a beauty. i love this bike...
** 1954 holdsworth zephyr, frame and forks only. 57 cm c-c. **
original enamel paintjob (it's a gold-coloured clearcoat over a metallic silver paintjob, with gold-lined cream banding on the downtube) with original decals. it's got a few scratches and such, but don't you dare repaint it. original w.f. holdsworth headtube badge. chroming on both dropouts. a rare and special frame; the headtube and forkcrown both have beautiful nervex lugging, but the rest of the frame is filletbrazed.
£275.

for better pics, please message me. i'll try to sort some out.

hey just wanted to mention this. a mate of mine who works in casualty says that she's treated about a dozen cyclists who were injured in accidents with hgv's recently.
she says that almost all of the victims say that the last thing they remember is being sucked under the trucks. be careful when passing/getting passed by these things. give them plenty of room.

some fellow named bill green is putting on a copycat bridges ride! good things about it: money going to a charity. bad things about it: money going to a christian charity.
i've been thinking a lot about stuff like this, especially since there have been about 20 copycat tweed runs around the world and a handful of new ones coming up. in most ways, i'm pretty cool with people using our ideas for formats. they're good ideas, and anything that gets people out on bikes is good. but then i also think that people should show a little initiative and creativity, you know? anyhow, i'm just rambling. your thoughts?

could easily do sundays. or alternate even. we're all busy... the point of a weekly thing is that if you make it one week, great! if not, try for next week. it's easier to fit in. and weekend mornings aren't normally overly busy, so i think we could all probably manage to hold the odd two-hour slot for a bit of a ride.

what did you end up getting?
