Ok, serious shit this. It´s been 7 days now that my roof collapsed, my landlord has his phone switched off... I´m going G.I.Joe with this...
(I haz rain in my kitchen... : ( )See if you can sort out a hotel bill, as in the paper work for a hotel stay that you can use to claim back off him. Or at least as ammo. LL sounds like a complete cnut.
Dunno how long your contract is, but by the sounds of it I wouldn't ever pay rent to him/her ever again. They can't evict you without a court order, and that ain't gonna get sorted until s/he's paid compensation for this roof shizzle.

I took mine to Paris a couple of years ago in a bike box, but it won't be any different with a bag. As long as it looks like a big bag, and not like a bike, you just take it on and put it in the luggage rack. Best to get there early though so that the rack isn't full of businessman's briefcases and overnight bags.

Well.. Just got myself a perm role and it seems they have a C2W scheme setup with Evans..
Does anyone know if Evans will buy in different brands? I quite fancy an On One you see :)
If not, maybe a Cannondale Badboy.. Hmm.. Choices..Call up your HR dept and ask if they would let you buy somewhere else, or better still go round to their office and ask (works best if you're in full lycra).

Sounds a bit dodgy tbh, but I would say take the cranks off the bike, then pick a drill bit just a tiny bit too big to fit into the bolt. Then when you have drilled through with that one pick the next size up. It would be a shame to kill your cranks for the sake of this bolt, so go easy! 'Measure twice cut once'.

• good pictures
• good title and description, ie honest and no baloney.
• good start / finish time and auction duration.
•*cheap or fair price on shipping. free of charge if local.
• make auction worldwide. Thanks! Think I've got most of the above covered, but couldn't resist putting in a reserve to make sure I at least make back what I paid for it. I paid well under market value for it, so it should go for much more anyway.... fingers and toes crossed.

Is this a continuation of this thread?

I was going to respond by saying that as it will need to replace a particularly nice stem, I was hoping that the new one would be too. Thanks for the offer though, I may well end up getting back to you!
I tried to find a photo of her current stem on the net and I found this ebay ad. Going by the photo its definitely the same stem, but then apparently it IS adjustable down to 22.2...? It's already adjusted as tight as I can get it - with a big allen key and pliers. And that's with 4 shims spread all the way round the bars.
I've emailed Archie Wilkinson back, maybe they can sell me a stem ;p

Where do you put your left hand while riding? Does your bike look like a unicorn with only one lever?
