+1 to the train not really being a viable alternative.
GF and I have to go up to Manchester in 2 weeks time - it's gonna cost £200 for the pair of us to travel up by train.
.don't you find it's extremely funny that it cost more to get from a to b in England, while it cost about.. £100 to get from London to Montpellier back.

Looks real good. Even more tempted now to take the decals off of mine! What did you use?
car paint stripper from the local garage for a fiver, a bit of a bastard to use, make sure you do one frame, and be careful with the paint stripper, one drop on the eyes, even second could make you blind for life.
this is how you should removed the sticker, do the whole thing not just the sticker part as you also need to removed the whole clearcoat so it look nice and smooth;

nah it wouldn't be a huge mistake, in fact, the Bowery normally cost £350, so you're getting a lots of bike for not a lots of money, in fact, if you end up loving it, you could probably keep it as long as you can after you change a few compound to suit your liking/comfort.
About bike theft, just use common sense, decent lock and how to lock it properly, while carefully not to leave your bike in the E postcode area like Shoreditch.

Lets not all get upset eh!
The op suggests that a particular motorcyclist is a cnut.yes.
Stinky bait if you ask me, sure we have jumped in and taken the piss out of you all but it is all part of growing up.
if the cyclist in hospital had the motorcyclists clipped him and send him off the road causing serious injuries, would you still come in and take the piss out of us? can you understand why we do get upset when something like that happen?
occasionally we post an "rider down" topic when a cyclist have an incident/collision to show awareness of other cyclists, some of them are our own, do you have that in your forum?
We have had a bit of a larf, christ some of you are so serious about it. Its the internet FFS.
you can able to have a larf here without resorting to petty insult to us, granted we did the same when we heard an incident, but I like to think we do that within reason as there were some cunts on road, and secondly there's actually quite a handful of motorcyclists here in this forum who is quick to point out that the motorcyclists or the cyclists is in the wrong within reason.
FWIW, if the account of what happened in the op is accurate then i would say that the rider was a bit aggressive and wrong to do so.
that all we need to hear mate, thank you, we would have more respect to motorcyclist had you came in and said simply that.

trackday is still classed as a closed circuit and therefore you still invalidate your insurance. why do you think they ask you what you will be using the bike for when you insure it.
I have an old Citroen AX back then (surprisingly reliable), and I loved driving it a lots that occasionally I enter track day occasionally just to have a blast (the car is extremely light despite having a weak engine), when I read the agreement form of the insurance company that I insured my car with; they specifically said that the insurance is valid for road only, not off-road, track racing etc. that'd either need a different insurance or a seperate insurance.
you're mucking about on track with a higher chance of a cock-up than on the road, that alone should be enough to realise that your current insurance for the road where you drive sensibly and carefully isn't good enough to be covered on track.

I think I did spotted you as well, did we take a quick glance at each other? and yes it was around 6pm (almost exactly), which one of you that have almost the same beard as mine?
must note that this is the first time someone managed to spot me, all simply because I stripped the decals off and replace the drop bar with a blue one!
