There’s something nice about a classic dress watch that’s less than 36mm and only 8mm thick completely disappearing on your wrist yet very readable.

By a stark contrast, I just pick up an old Rotray from my grandad, which was gifted to him by British Steel in the 70’s in Wales, he kept it till he die recently.

I think premise is the wrong word; weaponising it is more apt, as they’re justifying their action by using their historic record of Jewish people for being persecuted for thousand of years.
I’d argue that it’s anti-Semitic to claim that’s they’re fighting for Jewish people, linking them to the Israel’s government genocidal action toward the Palestinians.
The Israel (and our government) pretty much made sure antisemitism will happen toward those who are not Zionist.

but in this specific instance I think the plastic £20 Casio has all the comfort with a much more accurate timekeeping.
If my partner ask me that would like (insert product), I’m not going to argue that she’d be better off with a cheaper one because of personal opinion.

Don’t think watering cans and watches are really comparable tho.
My point being, a lots of people on here happily spending several thousands on a wristwatch, but balk when their partner asked for an expensive watering can is a little bit weird.
