I really liked the look of the Benfica team last season but this is yet again a transfer that sums up everything that's wrong with the PL. Ben FIFA bought him for £6m less than 12 months ago and he's got a good season and someone else comes along and pays well over the odds (£22m?) for him.
When will PL clubs realise it's worthwhile scouting further than the top 5 teams of the 6 "big" European leagues?
