Who dat? Chill the fuck out. So by being able to tune this shit out, I'm a smug cunt? How does that work then? [/qoute]
READ what I said: "I wish I could be like some of the smug cunts here"
some being the operative word. If you feel that you are a smug cunt then indeed so be it. If you don't feel like that then you can move on.
I find a lot of this glorification of the inane and irrelevant deeply uninteresting and at time depressing. Don't get me wrong* really *I wish I could be just like you- all un-bothered and unflustered.Donald Bird rocks, what is wrong with jazz mags?
[quote]I see you've got a plan, albeit a misanthropic one that involves killing people, say about 70% of the British population? And you spend your "bad days" thinking about this do you?
Yeah. That is my big plan- kill 70% of the popluation. Yes?
Granted I was in a pretty shittty mood but a little misanthropism is good for the soul.As to using the internet to rail against the 'Global Village' that we live in, now that's ironic.
Irony that may be but that doesn't devalue the point. Are you suggesting that the internet is 100% good? Because I use it I can't question it?
To me it feels like there is little mystery left and that it would be a little interesting to be unconnected for a little while. -

Was it a conscious pre planned decision to ride at such a pace?
If so then I think it needs to be mentioned in advance...I'm wondering if that ride will have put off any newbies doing their first ride with the forum. I brought several new faces having proclaimed the easy going nature of the ride. And that they had nothing to fear or to worry about.I think Loic (Vello) and Steves seperately bailed early due to their guests struggling keep pace (disclaimer: I may be wrong on this).

Phil I feel your despair. I wish I could be like some of the smug cunts here that just say ignore it but it continuously seeps in by default. I don't really watch TV but end up getting it via the radio.
I'm sorry for her small children and family.
On my bad days I wish could I could shoot:
the fucking inept idiots that spend ca$h mon€y on the slew of magazines that pedal this celeb bullshit.
The folk that spend more time reading/viewing the lives of others than they do on their own families pushing up viewing figures giving knob jockey tv schedulers the green light to continue making more of this gash.
All of the satellites- I think it was more interesting when we weren't in this global village. -
I've convinced (bullied at gun point) my flatmate into getting rid of his car for a bike.
I'm thinking tonight could be a great way for him to sample the delights of this great forum but he hasn't got a ride yet, so if someones got a spare beater that could be lent that'd be so 531.
If you can help: 078seven6 5for8 100
