Thanks. It's a two part epoxy that resists vibration. Hmmmm, I doubt it could stick two very thin surfaces together end on but I might give it a try. I don't really want to rivet the thing together so the epoxy might hold it well enough that the mud guard doesn't rattle.

I never really explained this Honjo problem clearly at the time. (see above) The split occurred at the contact point under the rear brake bridge. I did not use a leather washer as shown below. For that reason I guess the vibrations just broke the metal. I used leather washers everywhere else but at this point on my Bob Jackson Vigorelli there wasn't enough clearance for the tyre. I am going to try and fix it with some plates and rivets.
