Well im currently in the stockroom at Holborn helping the backlog before the move to Guildford. Then i will be doing a split week between Camden and Highbury by the looks of it. Just need to confirm my days.
I have a Park pro truing stand, dishing guage, spokemeter already here, which you are welcome to use ;)
Ill get some photos of the kind of thing Sheep and i have here and maybe get a few of you over. Would be a good way to put faces to names.
Give me an email when the b/b arrives and we can get something sorted out.

I would be happy to for a few beers really.
6 years of bike shop experience, 2 and a half as a full time mechanic.I will be starting at cycle surgery within the next week or so, as far as i am aware they have shop tools, so ill be keeping my own tool chest at home.
All you would have to do is pop the bike along, i can run through with some ideas for it, you can order the parts and then can spend a sunday morning (pre polo) fitting them and getting you started.
sound good?

Just been told by a house mate that they are planning on moving out on Sunday..
So from a few days after that we will have a room available in a lovely house on shacklewell lane. It's a meat free, hardcore, bike house pretty much.
Living here at the moment is xsheepx and myself. Both vegans and heavily into fixed wheels and diy bikes. We have taken over the back yard and utility area with maintenance stands, wheels, hooks, tool chests... so for thats its all good.
One lady vegan, 2 veggies and the worlds most awesome dog.A pretty bust house, i have been here a couple of weeks now and have had a number of touring hardcore bands crashing over here for a few nights.
Real great mix of people. 15-20min ride into the heart of town.
30 seconds from Kingsland Road.I am guessing that Katie would prefer to have another female so she isn't the only one, but she hasn't said anything.
I know there may be a few people interested in the room already, but i figured i would make a post to see if anyone here needed somewhere.Rent is £320 per calender month.. with a months worth of deposit on top.
Sooo yehh get back to either sheep or me, though sheep is touring at the moment so he doesn't actually know this yet.

i may have something... i remember seeing 172.5 written on something. It may have been a right crank arm though. No idea how i have ended up with loads of non matching arms.
Also roberto... Do you know of anywhere i can get a french bottom bracket for my lejeune frame. The one it came with is starting to pit itself.
Cheers

BillB you can get them tapped out to italian thread which is larger, the get italian to english convertor sleeves from ceeway (or use an italian BB). re threading the BB to italian is still a job for a frame builder and may not be cheap though.
Don't suppose you know of any frame builders which will do this?
I have an old french frame which needs a new bottom bracket and was thinking about giving this a go -
