Hi all,
I just need this one caliper to finish off a restoration project.... unfortunately the one i've taken off it has run away...To match the rear i'd need a weinmann 720 model, but to be honest anything that looks right, and has around 65mm drop would be great...I'm sure that some of you guys are swimming in these things...
Thanks!

Nope only been riding again recently, even 180's feel tough weird and scary.
Where is the Greenwich hip?
I herd about a warehouse in Charlton a couple of years a go speaking to a random bloke. Prob the same one. Private setup I think, invite only with a few key holders who pay most of the rent.
There are two skate parks in Woolwich one on the Connaught estate which has a super tight jump ramp and tight quarters. Only been ther once and the paint was gone and slippery so wrote to Greenwich and got it re painted, then never went back! ;)
Super Ted was telling me that his brother Tom got attacked at that place. It's not that nice so prob not worth it.
The skate park I go to is behind the leisure center by the river. Quite nice for a small park. Met some nice friendly people there.
If you ever come over from Greenwich a tip is to get the train to Woolwich Dockyard (my closet station) because there are no barrier. Don't think there are at Maze hill either so you can save you legs the spin for free.

Awesome, that first one looks pretty good, nicely spaced out... The Hip is by the blackwall tunnel just before the dome, tucked under a sort of flyover- pretty good fun, someone has cemented it so that it's nice and smooth...there is talk of building a vert wall down there and some other bits and pieces, but i doubt it will ever happen.
Yeah i think the warehouse is Scott Malyons place?? and as far as i can tell it's a closely guarded secret!
Theres a fun little park in Ladywell which you should try to check out, just behind the Lewisham Hospital, small and tight but it's got a few nice lines... Also a race track in Peckham, in the bird in bush park which i used to ride at a lot, if you want to get away from concrete and just do some jumps thats a nice spot.
Other than that I try to keep to the trails, though haven't ridden or dug all winter due to intense busyness.
Also Stockwell is rideable now, though technically not open, Think it's probably the most fun park in London, lovely and smooth, with a couple of new hips.
If you ever want to ride somewhere more New Cross way give me a PM or something, Cups o Tea can also be provided!

Ha ha. Sure why not.
If the weather holds I'm going to head to Woolwich skate park tonight for a short session of humiliation. For those that don't know (and most don't and seem scared of Woolwich) it about 3.5 miles from Greenwhich. Comes with Tea at my flat.
Do you ever ride the Greenwich Hip? Got a feeling I might have seen you down there... I've heard about this Woolwich skatepark in a warehouse place, is that the same as what you're talking about?

The new Verde bikes look amazing for a complete:
http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?products_id=6688&osCsid=488843b256576cc66f28308b12e4d7a1But i guess they're big dollar, The WTP Four seasons are also up there in the complete bike that might just pass as a good custom build:

I would advise against anything haro, GT etc. they don't seem to have moved forwards with the time like the two above... They're all short and heavy...

teh bikes:

teh face:

Hello,
So I've been on here for a bit, thought i should show my face.
Have been riding BMX for about 10 yrs, moved to London two years ago and started riding fixed.BMX is an fbm bitchin camero, S&M and profile parts etc...
Big wheels is my dads old raleigh, stripped and clear coated from teh 60's i think, converted pretty cheaply from bits i had laying about, but it's awesome fun -
Lake SPD Shoes, size 45, just got them from eBay but they are too small for me, which sucks because i think they're the nicest, perhaps only good looking SPD shoes i've found.
lets say £30...
I'm in New Cross (SE4) but maybe will be able to drop them off somewhere in central as and when i'm about...
