Is the bottom one mean't to be sexy?

kind of, but by not freecycling you will contribute to more stuff going to landfill. by taking what others aren't using and re-using, you keep the existing products out there in use and out of the ground.
I tried so hard to do the freecycle thing but it turned into a nightmare with all the emails so I gave up. Saying that if I had something decent I didn't want anymore and didn't want to sell I would give it away via a forum these days.

Hi all
I have been tempting to ride fix again for a while, now I finally got a frame (A Raleigh Banana 531) and the devotion to do it. Last time I did was when I lived in Holland on a old Gazelle thing...
Anyway, I will be very active here to find parts for my first build, I run a second hand records shop in Hackney Wick, so if any of you into music and have the parts I need, I am happy to trade.
Admin - Please activate me so I can dirt your board!
Nice one,
Vinylpimp
Where is your shop?

grow courgettes (got a prize winner on the go)
play golf (well pitch & putt) on hackney marshes
ponder
walk in the countryside...(am jealous of the playing in an orchestra. can imagine nothing better than playing in a band or orchestra and making musical noise with people.)

Good work on that Brooks x
Saw this from JOL a while back
I just bought this ugly old bike and it came with a saddle in very much the same shape and the brand is Lyott (???) I think. Anyone know anything about these?

Elderfield is well alright. Proper pub. And yeah - we have the worst/best golf course in London.
Hussy - right now I dont have a fixed wheel bike - well i do but I dont ride it as I am enjoying my road bike. Guilty your honour. Mine are pretty much in bits. Will eventually get round to building one properly. Just want a nice nice frame. Oh and some nice nice money to pay for it.

Sorry chap. My neighbour owns one of those delis and she is one of those people you joked about who gentrify an area in a not so good way. I like the French one over the road instead with all the hot French girls working in it. Biddel Brothers is a good place definitely, as is the Elderfield. You just have to avoid Maureen the larger lady (probably sitting on her own) whose sister was married to Greg Norman, and who has also starred in Emerdale and Corrie and had a baby at 65 WTF??? Bonkers pub bullshitter.

Speedwolf - it just feels like a nice place to live and kind of different for London in that you have a big patch of country side on your doorstep. Just because Time Out writes something it doesn't instantly mean the area goes to pot. It just has a nice atmosphere. Personally I think its because there hardly any transport links bar a couple of buses.

Irdial Records compilation. In my head it was good. Isn't.
