BBC radio finally give us the option of a WHOLE STATION dedicated to a less mainstream brand of playlist/humour/banter, and they stick this numpty on it. It's nothing personal, he has his style and is clearly made for things like commercial radio and presenting Big Brother's Little Brother. But interviewing Ray Davies on 6Music with 'complete this sentence...' questions is hardly putting him to the best use.

Crispin - I only have just started listening to 6Music over the past few months and really enjoy it. Why are (and this is not a pisstake question) the listeners seen as so hardcore? It is just people that know their stuff? Was great after MBV played that you got them all going on about it for ages as you know they appreciate the same things as you do. Think I just answered my own question.

Hate to be the voice of reason but I worked with him on something a while ago and I think he's alright you know... I know he gets a ton of grief but is actually a pretty genuine nice chap.

Skully - that's a sweet sweet bike. I bought an old Holdsworth with a terrible paint job but beautiful lugs to do a similar thing with (5 gears Campag etc...) but have never got round to getting it re-painted. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll get some photos together and mail them to you.

I'd put it on Discogs. It's really simple and I just sold two records really quickly. The second Beta Band 12 for £35 and an Unkle album (cough) for £15 or something. It's easy to see what things are going for on there...

On TV On The Radio Live - I went to see them at the ICA. Got stoned before. Really stoned. Then had some beers. Then more weed. Then they came on and hit first note which was some fuck off bass sound, which sent me bandy and I feinted. I woke up lying on the floor still holding my two pints with all the security guards leaning over me. Left as quick as I could. Tit. Lesson learnt - not only women respond to bass.
