A coupla years ago my mate was telling me about this style of US R&B that was slowed down a stupid amount... Apparently designed for all the cough medicine addicts, anyone heard of it? I couldn't find a mention of it anywhere on t'web... Still intrigued...

I think that stuff was called Screw after DJ Screw who did loads of it. If you google 'screwed and chopped' you'll hear loads of David Banner tunes all fucked up. His stuff was already mental enough and this made it more out there.

The drink that accompanied the scene was a mix of cognac and cough medicine that really was a headfuck. Tried some once at a night Heavenly did with Harvey a while back. Horrible.

There is also a new strand of slow fuck-up music from Sweden called skweee. Actually some of it's alright. ANd if you like this check beatbully.

This was one of my favourite moments of being a dad so far. In France at a cottage with all the family and my little one must have been about four. Just ended up getting him going on the grass, slightly downhill, he had tried a few times then I just let him go and in no time off he went. Bless him.
