From a fast road position? Does not compute. How are you going to maintain your arbitrary 60/40 with the same effective ST angle and the longer front-center of the gravel bike? Are you going to lower the rider over the front end?
Moving from road to off road positions usually become less static because of different terrain. That’s reason to look again at all your road measurements. Of course a good starting point is probably your road measurements on a frame with some further possibilities for adjustment.

You’re spending enough for good after sales service so yeah (unless you’re going to get into rebuilding wheels yourself) go for a hand built from someone who guarantees their work.
Sounds like you’re quite particular about weight. I’m not sure Hunts really weigh what they claim. I expect these do. DCR and JustRidingAlong are good too.

I don’t think it’s really constructive to blame Ashley. He has been ‘successful’, working within the law.
I really do think there needs to be debate about the effect that zero hour contracts have on workers financial security and wider society.
It’s got to the point where if you don’t utilise these contracts you’re at a major competitive disadvantage. A government with a spine could change this.

Head west of Birmingam and Shropshire has endless dreamgravel.
spaghetti junction
I drove over it this morning. In the wind and rain. The mix of animated advertising and StayHomeSaveLives DriveInTheHardShoulderYouPussy and COVID-19 testing demands (for foreign travel) made me feel like a right replicant.

For summer socks with elasticity these are really good. Available in white.

They’re a little thicker than most summer socks but that’s fine for the UK and (being super-stretchy) they don’t bunch-up at all.
