Given free to me by old friend of the family. 50's 60's Jim Guard path frame, Fancy Nervex lugs, wrap over seat stays, 531 tubing, airlite hubs with double fixed rear, 27" Dunlop super sprint wheels, GB stem and old cinelli drops. think chain set is BSA? drop-outs have eyelets for mud guards.
/attachments/4599Has anyone heard of this maker as a search through usual routes show nothing up, and 'Jim Guard is handpainted on down stays.Have half a though that this maybe a re-badged something else any ideas?

Mr.Major, not very nice buddy. Now you would'nt want to get your tweeds all dirty would you.Its only a forum guy do'nt get all upset there.I am not one for threats, but I will tell you this I do not like anyone in my face so I think I will turn up to this,as I do most events.I ai'nt to hard to find.
Oh just calm down. Whats the deal with you? so much uptight tension chill the fuck out. No-one cares if you come on this or cares for your tweed hating spats. If you don't like then don't get involved. Have a wank or something.

I think you mean a Pontiac GTO not Cadillac...while some of the body features are the same the specs are different ,...and no, quite different from your vauxhalls :]

Q: Hello. My names Sophie. I'm interested in this peugeot racing bike. But you wrote your 6 ft 2 and it fits you perfectly..I'm only 5ft 3, do you think it would be too big for me? Thanks for your time. Sophie07-Dec-08A: I think this may be a little too small for you.. A housemate of mine that is about your size tried it and she couldn’t get her leg over the crossbar, sorry.. Thanks for your interest though Jim

I try to be sensible about it.
Even if it means buying that good inexpensive part, cleaning and then reselling it for two or three times the cost.
Then I can spurge on want I really want without breaking the bank.
But all my bikes this year still cost less than the wife's shoes.
I hear that, however Gf wanted Mulbeey bag for christmas, told her she could have one if I got frame for same price, ends up she won't be getting a bag. Now I won't be getting new Mercian.. : ( just have to buy one on the sly,,,

Path frame is bike/frame that was often rode to meetings often with low gear brakes and mud-guards in the 40's 50's most often with 27" wheels and double fixed for higher gear ratio when the chap got there. Bit of an allrounder before folks could afford a bike for all ocassions, and gears.
