Loft joists should be designed for 25kg/m2 so as long as the track is fixed into and across multiple timbers, hanging a load of bikes will be fine

We're on a corner so the dormer will be very visible. As we had to go through full planning I thought it was worth doing something a bit nicer than standard tile hung. Will be about £5k extra (nearly 7m wide) so the 2nd ensuite will have to wait until we find the pennies....

I would really really love it if builders actually looked at the drawings and worked to the details, rather than doing what they think and then having to re-do it properly when I notice the errors.
