@andyp Mini-bleeds can be carried on SRAM levers too if you have a bottle of fluid with a nozzle, I find the Fenwicks 80ml work well. DOT isn't very nice stuff though so you have to be a bit more careful than with Shimano.

I really have to get up all trails under my own steam here, and most of my riding starts with 300-400m elevation gain before I go down anything.

Enduro bikes are designed to be pedalled up 1000m+ actual mountains. Don't worry about weight, enjoy the descent!

Given the state of the shitty hotels that many of the riders will have been staying in, I can't imagine there would be any security staff. Poor guy, he's in a lose-lose situation at that point.

Such an amazing course. Perfect start and finish straight with a great mix of speed, varied efforts and tech. It made for some very hard racing though, I vommed after my race- I haven't done that in a while!

Hookless are very much tubeless specific! They have no hook to the rim so require a very strong tyre bead.

I've had a set of Mavic hookless alloy on my MTB hardtail for a good few years. I like running quite squirmy pressures (17-20psi) and never had a burp despite evidence of serious flex of the sidewalls.

I still love it thanks!
