Vanessa Feltz is coming across as incredibly anti-cyling. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/england/london/
Boycott Vanessa Feltz?
I feel nothing but pity for her. Imagine waking up each day and remembering you're Vanessa Feltz.

Awesome camera. I was talking to a ex-courier ex-photographer friend of mine at the weekend who used to rate how good cameras were by how well they performed as weapons in fights. The FM2 was considered the best weapon of them all. It's also a cracking camera! I'd be interested in any other lenses you have though?

Dearest people of the forum.
I am helping shoot a charity film on Tuesday of next week that requires us to film from a moving bike.
If possible we'd like to find a rickshaw or trike to borrow for the day - to make our shoot easier: So I'm appealing for help here to anyone who might be able to lend us one?
We can offer a small financial incentive for you as well as our undying love and devotion.
Please PM me if you can help us out!
Thanks

Yesterday evening I actually stopped someone near Aldgate East riding my girlfriends bike that was stolen back in October 2010.
In hindsight what I should have done was call the police straight away - but the guy riding it seemed nice enough.
I explained the bike was stolen from our flat (among 5 others) see this post: http://www.lfgss.com/post1723446-5221.html (her's is the resprayed blue Condor.)
That I wasn't looking to take "his" (our!) bike away from him, but that I would be interested to find out where he got it from (turns out from a friend who got it off Gumtree.)Anyway, he told me his name was Brendan and gave me his (as it turns out - wrong) phone number. All very friendly. Anyway - as the mug I am - I let him go... but I would like to talk to him again and as it turns out - the GF would quite like the bike back too.
I did manage to take a picture of the bike as it is now, but unfortunately not him... (I know what an idiot I am!)
I'd like to track him down properly - so if anyone knows the bike, or "Brendan" could you get in touch with me... or let him know I'd like to talk to him.
He's about 5'9" with longish curly hair.
I'm kicking myself now - I know I've probably lost it again for the second time. I'd be interested to know what my rights were if this happened again.

Hello. Yes I do - its a 53.5cm x 55cm track frame:

Was originally looking for a swap - but as I've found a new one I'll be putting it up for sale soon. If you're interested let me know.

"blow up like the world trade" ?
died in 97.
Good fodder for the conspiracy theorist.

So I have finally got round to admitting it... the frame I so lovingly and painstakingly restored is too small and my back and heart aches because of it.
As far as I know, the frame is 531 and probably Belgian from the 70's or 80's. It's nicely built and pretty light for it it's age.
Currently it is built up with a newer drilled fork/brake, but has hardly been ridden. It also has a couple of chips in the paint that I can touch up if required.
Potentially I can include both forks in a swap, the original is lovely, but could do with a paint/rechrome.
I'm after something that is around 55-56cm square of similar age and quality, bu not too bothered if it's a bit scruffy.
+1
