there are two different spd cleats, multi release and single.
never had an unclipping with the singles, used to get the odd one with mutli'sI know that.. I only used single release.. Still had unclips when the cleats had been used for some time..
I guess that with multirelease they would have unclipped first time trying to skid.

It's kind of weird with the icarus, and the above Yamaguchi..
Normally when builders do frames without conventional seattube it's because they want the rear wheel to sit closer to the BB and have a tight geometry..
This doesn't seem to be the case with these two, and that makes it only a funny design with no real benefit..
These (reposts) should show what I'm talking about;

sh!t, those shoes look pretty much brand new aswell.
glue won't shit 'em.
spd cleats will outlast your shoes. fact!
were as time cleats will need replacing a few times.
stick with SPuDsCrap... When I was riding SPD's I started getting unclips after about a month on the same cleats... So had to change them all the time..
Time Atac's hold out much longer and work fine even though they look worn like shit..
Oh,
New saddle and cranks on the RiGi..

Need to find some blue grips that will not look total shit on the frame - currently using Oury's and they do look like shit.. Perhaps I should just put some horns on it with some funky bartape?
Skully; I was not using multirelease cleats...

So now it's getting annoying this shit here.. :)
I can't find anyone that can make a new thread on that grey fork.. So I think I'll put a 1" threadless headset on it and run it like that..
Yesterday I got an almost unused Look Ergostem, even though it's a bit newer than the frame (it's 1 1/8", but who can tell if I use a 1" adapter? :) )
I think that stem will fit the frame just fine.. :)

Oh, and the tallbike has been updated with a new set of temporary cranks.

I use oldskool Shimano 600 friction shifters, and just got the matching derailleur.. And perhaps I'm getting a set of cranks as well... So thinking about building it full oldskool Shimano 600, and getting a broken Campagnolo Record-spider for the "chainguide" ;)

The Tornado in a somewhat rideable state... ;)
The Moscow-bars are a bit low on it, so I guess I'll use them for something else.. They where just the only bullhorns I had that fitted the Ergostem..
Also, the front wheel has a few cracks (nothing a bit of epoxy can't fix) so I'm a bit scared of going fast on it, but actually it feels allright at 35kph, and it feels a bit weird at low speeds..
