Similar experience to @Cazakstan, 54 plate Fiat Panda, failed MOT and no economical to fix. Stuck it on eBay with no reserve and someone came with a flatbed and took it away leaving me with £300. Got tons of messages asking me to take the listing down for cash.

The man is a local hero. He looks after/manages the community garden in the Rec and he builds all the local street planters. So he takes in donations of wood for said planters and things like the compost bins in the community garden, that's what's under the tarps. I don't mind the "mess", as I know it's for the local community.

IANAE but that's how I would do it. Obviously you'd have to "open up" the ring. And, you can just get longer screws if the faceplate sits too far forward after plastering. Annoyingly they are only available in boxes of a million (you might get smaller sets off ebay), but they are very easy to come by.

All that being said, I still have one of these BNIB (sent to me by mistake and no one has come looking for it) that anyone on here is welcome to take off my hands for £100.

Stupid question, but are you extracting the air?
It will be vented out the back wall once the ducting and vent cover arrive. So the filter is really only there to prolong the life of the fan.
Fan is very smooth. Main noise is air moving, which I'm hoping will be lessened by the duct/vent instead of the wind noise against the back wall.

Hamax Caress is a nap machine! Combine it with a Tucano Urbano Opossum when it gets colder.
