Slowly. The wheels are cleaned but I need to get the acetone out and clean the residue glue from the rims. That's not really a job you can do indoors so I'm waiting for a warmer day. It's been a long wait so far.
try lighter fluid, no need for warmth, in fact, probably best to have as little warmth as possible

aye, it's self adhesive stuff that can be removed with a hairdryer for up to 7 years, if you're careful. works exactly the same way as the hi-viz bits of jackets etc. so you need an almost direct light source but is perfect for headlights/drivers' vision, if you get me. just looks glossy black in normal light.
