cool thanks, so if I measure and find some ones that fit the measurment and are def nut fitting then I should be fine, sorry Im so asking for it to be spelt out...
Yes it should be fine. If you do end up with the wrong thing you can always sell it on again here, people are always looking for brakes and levers.

Anybody familiar with this curio?
I saw a guy with one of these this morning. I asked him about it when we stopped at a light, he said there's no covering on it, its made entirely of plastic, and it takes a while to get used to, but it cheap and fairly comfy for him. Looked a bit solid to me, and his was bright flouro yellow, but each to their own.

These, or check on eBay, I got an almost brand new pair there for £25 recently. They work fine with cross levers and 700c wheels in 27" frames - I'm in the middle of putting the same set-up on my Holdsworth.

Thank you Skully, but is the Big Table going for the set menu only? Or can you get the table menu downstaris too? (I've only ever eaten upstairs). I don't think I can consume/afford £16.95 worth of meat in one sitting though, so I'll stick with my fellow muptards until I know I guess.

for those not been to the half moon they have those flower pot bike stands outside but not sure if space for epic bike pile. other posts and railings nearby
Yep, there's a block of sheffield stands outside Oxfam and also on the opposite side of the road in front of the dentist, but they seem to permenantly full of mangled dead hybrids. Should be any number of lamp posts and "Welcome to Southwark" signs available though.

Ginger & wasabi layer cake... marmalade...
Bake-a-thon weekend is go! Inspired by tastespotting I'll be making a balsamic onion and marmalade tart, and maybe a ginger & wasabi cheesecake if the world is ready for that too...

Fun-ness! This is the link for my lights, for those who asked

If it helps I had a 52cm BJ vigorelli [I'm 5ft 8" (172cms), with a 33" (84cm) inside leg]. The seat tube length was fine (with a lot of post showing), but the top tube was way too short for me. Since I'm a little bit taller I would guess that a 52cm would be about right for you though?
Edit - I ride a 54cm track bike, and 55.5cm road bikes now for reference.
