Ok this wasn't on my road bike but i still ate durt quite literally. Came blasting down a slight incline, can't say hill, in Epping Forest and got funneled into a grove in the mud which directed me straight into a tree. Even better I couldn't get my foot out of the clip so I subsequently fell into the 6" deep mud.I suppose I asked for it riding in the woods but i'm hooked. And its so close to my house. I don't even have to get on a train or car to get there.

Great I need an excuse to see if my fixie will take me that far without killing me. I'm not up for riding in the rain especially since DD 07', which was enjoyable but I imagine better without wet pants. Chips and candy floss are good um' K
