Is FB likely to be banned or go out of business anytime soon...? I don't really use it much these days but... how about the Oculus rift s? I have been reading about the difference between the rift and the quest and other than the fact that quest is a standalone device, it seems the image quality isn't as good as the rift?
I think the Oculus is much more within my price range, it's just for a bit of "lockdown has finally broken me" fun.

Bit of a stupid question - I am considering trying 4G as my main WiFi, but before signing up to a deal, I want to try different networks etc because I live in a basement flat and signal isn’t always great. It is just a normal SIM I need. Isn’t it? They are not any kind of special SIMs, are they?
I am looking at some routers on Amazon and they don’t look too bad cost wise...

This is my situation, the advert says interview will be next week so just waiting to hear. It’s quite common in the jobs I have applied to. Maybe it’s a Higher Ed thing when they need to pull in people from other depts for fairness etc? Not sure...
I will book a slot for as far in the future as they will let me so at least that’s a date set.

The potential side effects. I don’t respond well with a lot of meds etc. I know they are temporary, which is why I want to wait until I hear from a job app so I don’t end up “being ill” for an interview (If I am lucky).
But I am glad I get the offer now, I have been reading up about when asthmatics will get the vaccines and there seem to have been some changes that if your asthma isn’t extremely severe then you are not a at risk group anymore, because we are not at any higher risk than a health person. I am 1 hospital stay away from having to shield because I have been careful... so maybe my GP did some work at the background?
Also the meds we take apparently might offer some protection? I don’t know... I am all confused. So will be masking up and not going out much every after the vaccine and lockdown is over...

So this is what I have done when I need to put Patch in her case and she is hiding under the bed:
Obviously, shut the door and all the windows she can't go to another room. I then turn on the hairdryer and blast it towards under the bed, she usually comes out within seconds. She hates the noise and the wind.
I then swiftly burrito her (basically wrap her in a big towel and put the whole cat burrito into the case)
It always works. Downside? She hates me for about a week afterwards.
I have given up being nice and use treats a long time ago. Good luck.
Do you guys take your plants out for a bit of sun bathing in the garden (if you have one)? I am thinking about it but then I worry they might attract all sorts from the garden when I bring them back inside.
