So, had me this Pashley paramount frame sat in my room for about 18 months which I did intend to turn into some kind of fixed/ss cruiser for my at the time (now ex) gf.
Didn't cost me anything as I rescued it from a fence near City Road after everything that some bunch of fucks could have stolen from it, had.
I've cleaned it and ummed and arred at it for far too long now and it's going to waste.
Shame.Anyway, it's got its Stronglight cranks still attached and is in generally good, clean (if a little dusty) condition.
I live in N4 and if someone wants to come get it they can have it. As I say, I paid nothing for it, so can't really charge anyone for taking it off my hands.
Chris.

Like this one.
It has a 28mm fitting and so is utterly useless as it don't fit the forks on my Bianchi Pista.
As new, just received it in the post, offered for sale or swap for something shiny and silver that will fit.
Collect from either Brixton or Stroud Green depending on whether I'm at work or home.
Or from Borough on Wednesdays.
Will post if required.£7

So....
I'm a dick and I've threaded the stem at the handlebar end by trying to use Ti bolts instead of aluminium ones.Fail.
The things you do when you're not concentrating.
Anyone got a stock one (or similar) they want to get rid of?
Or is it possible to re-drill the thread?
Bikefix? Also offered; two 6mm Ti stem bolts :)
Take the cunts off my hands.Thanks.

Erm...
...how to articulate this without sounding a dick......
I used to think that a lot of people who wore bape clothing and bought into that kind of thing/lifestyle were hideous victims of fashion (esp DJ types, whom I used to spend a lot of my time with and should have had better things to concern themselves with than looking like James Lavelle and DJ hype). Bapesta style stuff 'rapes' you in the pocket as well, so it was just a shortening. A bit tabloid really.
Anyway, once you have picked your username why bothe re-registering, and I was using that a while back when I registered (and still do on Ebay) you can call me Chris though :) -

this bike smells of bullshit, sry.
If its your bike you should at least provide some sort of providence.Think what you like, I'm inclined to believe it's not..but then you have no idea who I am either.
If you knew and worked with the guys from CCC and the Bike Shed in Canton you wouldn't and it does kinda look like a bike Rich would put together out of loads of bits from 'Somewhere in the Welsh Valleys'. They work with a cycling and parts gene-pool which is pretty shallow. Having experience of similar looking builds, this to me looks kosher(and all they ever do to convert to single speed is throw a gusset kit on a pair of 105's that they usually have in house). It's what they did on my first ss build.
Anyway, I think this is genuine.
And I know that's gonna mean fuck all. -
well it varies, busy at times quite at others. i only do thursdays and sometimes fridays.
well the younger john yer he's at base most of the times. this bike i actually got from him as my bike got smashed to bits by a car and needed a replacement asap.
do you know luca rich and older john?
Yeah...
He tried to flog me a Claude Butler MTB that he'd put a 'full xt' groupset on to replace the Stumpjumper I'd had robbed.
Wasn't quite the same :)Rich is top. Usually call him whenever I have a bike based query :)
I worked there for about a year, Luca had been there for a couple of months when I left for London.
I've never had to ride as hard in London as I did in Cardiff, 80 mile days were not unusual...
Do Ed, Pip and Pat still roll?
And how's the mutt? -
