Surly Steamroller
Excellent condition, always stored indoors and never crashed. I’ve had this for 15 months.
56cm.
Black.
As standard except for Miche Advanced crank set (the all black condor one) and a miche bb (fitted by Condor), 47x19 fixed gear.
Saddle never ridden.
Vitorria randonneur on the rear (very good condition – only 2 months old).
Continental gator hardshell on the front (good condition – 4 months old).
Surly chaintensioner.
Rear hub bearings replaced by Brixton cycles 2 months ago.
Front rim has been used with a brake, but still has life in it.
Brake lever clamp bolt threads have died, so will need replacing (it’s on, but not on especially tight).
Shimano SPDs.Steamrollers (and Surly’s in general) don’t come up for sale all that often, so grab yourself a great bike while you’ve got the chance. This really is an excellent bike and I wish I wasn’t selling but I have only got space for 1 bike and I need gears as I’m working up to ride end to end next year. If I had the space selling wouldn’t even cross my mind.
£550** (SOLD)**
I will only split if there is no interest in the complete bike – I’d rather sell complete. Collection from Forest Hill, south east London.

I brought the new assassins creed game at lunch time, first time I've ever got a game on the day it came out. this has resulted in this afternoon being extremely slow and tedious, I just want to get home and have a go!
Will defo get Arkham Asylum at some point soon:
A must-play for anyone who even remotely likes having fun.
sold!

how much better is Assassin's creed 2 than 1? Played the first one and liked it but travelling to cities and doing the same missions over and over got a bit boring.
a lot. the movement is a lot smoother/more fluid and more precise. it's also got better graphic detail. I found traveling between cities really annoying in the first one and they've sorted that out in the second. you can also get around without constantly being chased, which I found quite irritating in the first game.
I really would highly recommend it (you can prob get it pretty cheap now too). I pretty much played it full time while I was off work last Christmas only breaking up sessions to clear up the massive pie of quality street wrappers.
I'm very tempted to get Batman Arkham (sp) asylum. my little brother described it to me as "a bit like Assassin creed, but you have to creep around in the shadows and kill people with batman gadgets". sounds like a win to me (also only £20!)

there are loads of good games coming out at the moment, anyone would think Christmas was only a month away!
I'm not usually too bothered about getting stuff right away, but I'm looking forward to playing the new Assasins creed game so much I'm actually a little worried about myself. the last one was really excellent, so if this is as good (or better {swoons}) then...then...I don't know what I'll do.

kenda kwick trax are very good, but tricky to get hold of in the UK I believe. my mrs has been using them (32c) for the last year and despite the fact she seems to be a glass magnet has only punctured once.
I'm running 32c vitorria randonnuers front and back and am happy with them. seem to be grippy enough, were a pain to get on though.

61cm frame, 60cm TT and for once I have a fixed bike that fits perfectly. Spent some time talking to different people regards bike fit and finally used a spreadsheet fit calculator over on the Weight Weenies forum; which has worked perfectly for my liking.
just out of interest do you have a link to that fit calculator?

Just saw your post in the winter glove thread about it being -9, how are these overshoes doing? I need some badly (purple toes on Saturday).
