I suppose it still technically counts as this week, so I got: a pewter goldtec rear hub with an open pro... all i need now is a new front wheel to do the rear one credit. a new saddle, some bar tape, and some time to ride it. Oh and ideas as to what to do with an old GT ZR4000...

did the chain thing not work? I might have your solution, but it'll cost you the knock down price of a new (exact) replacement. I changed chains again. leaving me with the rest of that chain you took the links from going free. should be around tomorrow, not really tried out the new bike on any distance yet, but evening work might get in the way.

can I grab a bit too in exchange for that frame? I might make it down to Peckem, do you want me to bring that frame along, or save it for another day?

ah, I saw that monster of a roberts when I was in Brixton Cycles last week, and you rang up at the same time. I would need stilts to even reach the pedals on that thing. Did they manage to shift the seat post for you? They quoted a whopping amount to shift one for me...
