When we were looking at different layouts for our loft and thinking of having the bathroom at the front of the house the builder was saying they can make the steels with holes in for the soil pipe to run through. Obviously having holes in the steels was going to add cost and I think they would need to use a slightly narrower pipe too. As it turned out we decided to have the bathroom in the middle and so the pipe just went straight out and connected with the stack.

If anyone is looking for some bathroom bits I've got these for sale -

Bits and pieces from a bathroom renovation that have become surplus to requirements.
This basin was fitted but was just too big for the space. Its got a black click clack waste fitted and we have the matching bottle trap too. It does have a small mark on the front lip and does not have a tap hole so needs either a wall or counter mounted tap.
Basin, waste and trap - £50Also have this mirror, never fitted and still in the box
Mirror - SOLDAnd this wall light which is also not been fitted and is still in the box.
Wall light - £50Collection in SE26

Anyone got a recommendation for a good mesh network system under £200?
We've got Virgin Gig1 Fibre but recently had a loft conversion done and the strength of the wifi up there is not great. I was using one of Virgin power line adapters for a while but it kept dropping out all the time so ditched that and looking for something a bit more robust. -

Initially this project might only be a 1 or 2 days a week so wouldn't be my main source of income so I was thinking I could just hold on to the ETH for a while and see where it goes. As I understand it you would pay capital gains tax when you convert it back to £ but at the value it was when you first got it which given how volatile it is could be wildly different.
Got a call with the guy tomorrow so will see what the options are. -
I’m a freelance designer with a limited company and a client that I’ve worked with before wants me to work on an interesting project that partly involves NFT’s. He has suggested that he would prefer to pay me for this work in ETH. I’m not completely averse to this idea but I’m unsure on the tax implications of running it through my business. I’m going to have a chat with my accountant but wanted to see if anyone on here has done something similar and how best to approach it.

Yes, you might well be right. I have actually got CX tyres that I've used before on the 700c wheels which worked well but I wanted to have a separate set of wheels to switch to rather than the faff of changing tyres. So I thought I'd try 650b and go a bit bigger with the tyre.
I've got some slightly smaller 650b tyres on the way and will take these tyres off and check how the rim is aligned. -

Trying out some 650b wheels on my Bowman Pilgrims Disc frame. Clearances are quite tight but measuring the gap between the rear stays I should be able to get a 40mm tyre in there. Bought some Conti Terra Trails which have come up a bit big at about 41mm but when I drop the wheel in the tyre is touching the stays but only on the drive side. There should be enough room for clearance but I can't work out why the wheel is not centred properly. Could I use a spacer to compensate or does the wheel need re-dishing?

I had a really good call with the guy from here when we were choosing a loft company, discussed layout options and process and he gave me some ballpark figures but then completely ghosted me when I tried to get a more detailed quote. Obviously not unusual behaviour for trades and you might well get a better experience.
