My mother in law bought this at the start of the first lock down last year. It's been used a grand total of 4 times and only for short distances so apart from a bit of dust it's pretty much new. For a variety of reasons she's just not used it so it has to go, before I try eBay/Gumtree I thought I'd see if there was any interest on here.

So we had our new loft staircase installed last week. When the guy came round to do the survey they needed to know what type of flooring we're having and how thick it will be so they could calculate the correct height for the new stairs. I'm sure at the time either he or one of the loft company team said this was so they could get a flush level with that final flooring height (we are getting reclaimed and refinished pine boards which are 20mm thick).
Yesterday I noticed that there is only 22 mm from the floor joist to the top of the last tread, so that means the sub floor will be flush with the last step but then we've still got 20mm of pine boards to go on top of that. When I brought this up with the loft guys they said the floor fitter will sort out that junction with a wood nosing but I can't see how that will work with the bullnose end of the last tread already there?
He also said the floor thickness was needed for when the carpenter hangs the doors not so that the steps were flush with the final floor height. Is he just trying to fob me off or is this standard practice and I must of just assumed the whole flush with floor level thing? -

Yes, lower ceiling than the rest of the house so pendants are not going be practical. We're definitely getting dimmers and will probably have at least one table/floor lamp in each bedroom. The section above the bay is a gable end so will either be storage or boarded up and not part of the room. The two Velux windows are going to be pretty big so should be plenty of light in there.

Looks similar to ours although we're putting the bathroom in the middle between the bedrooms. One thing I'm trying to work out is the lighting - how many spots and where to put them. The pink dots in this sketch are the spots, green dot above stairs is a pendant, and an additional wall light in the bathroom. I think the bedrooms are ok but not sure about the bathroom and hallway lighting arrangement.

That seems like rapid progress for 7 days. We're on day 10 and they are building out the rest of the back bedroom dormer and boarding the whole frame out hopefully.
As @Howard mentioned we're definitely getting the chimney stacks and brick work up there sorted while the scaffold is up as I know they are both in a bit of state.

Clearing out my loft in preparation for it being converted, got a whole stack of loft boards roughly 45 of a long length and a bunch of half sizes and off cuts. A bit dirty and all of them have screw holes in but still in decent nick. I've also got a stack of timber battens most of which are treated.

I've been dabbling in modding old Seiko's again. This one is from the lates 70's with a 7025 movement bought on here from @Sumo. New crystal and switched the dial and hands for a more military style look.

We used Peelaway on our cast iron fireplaces. Very effective but messy and time consuming if you have a lot of ornate detailing. Yours look quite plain so should be easier and even if its not metal this stuff will work well. You will need to be careful with your newly laid floorboards though as you need to use water to wash down the surfaces after you've removed the paint.
