Finally today after ordering a frame that said it was in stock the week before Christmas I received a definite answer on what had happened to my order. They haven't got any in stock and were never going to get any more with the Dekerf stays. So I have been offered the option of either pompetamine frame or waiting for the new one until February. I've got some bb7 brakes in the loft but it would mean rebuilding my wheels with 135 disc hubs, also I cannot find a 1 1/8 carbon disc fork other than the kinesis one and I don't like the way it looks. So if anyone has any suggestions of other forks I'd love to hear....
The thing that has left a real pissed off bitter taste in my mouth it was that it took three weeks of them fucking about to tell me they could not supply a large white pompino, that all of the blue ones have gone too and if I want to use rim brakes I have to use their 'new' frame. One of the occasions where I have to agree with Tester, the new frame is built to hit a price point and for that you lose the only design feature that set it apart from any other cheap steel frame, not because of mud clearance or any other reason than because it makes the frame cheaper. So, because of their fuck up you can't buy a frame that won't be made again because of price constraints.

So after ordering on the 23rd, I am still waiting for mine despite being told three times last week that it "is definitely being shipped today", it still hasn't been sent. I was told today it should probably be here by the end of the week though. Normally I have had pretty bang on service from PX but this has been a pretty poor experience to be honest. I am not fussed with waiting for two weeks it's just annoying to keep being told it'll be there tomorrow when they know full well it won't and they haven't received the frames from their bonded warehouse.

Unlucky, they usually leave parcels in our wheely bin or other 'safe' place.
Chuck it over the fence that's safe enough isn't it?
The amount of yodel parcels which contain pc parts chucked over my fence and in the rain is a joke.
Yodel, left two Castelli Gabba long sleeve jerseys in my recycling bin £185 each. Nice one.

I received two emails from planet x today.
Sorry we could not find your item in our warehouse but we will despatch the rest of your order as soon as possible. You will be refunded for the missing item expect it to show within 3 days.
Your item has been pick and packed and is ready for despatch.
I only ordered a frame so I'm not sure what the other items they were referring to in the first email. Love it.

Good shout. Cheap pompetamine on its way to me, hopefully be here tomorrow.
Really like the look of thedopestghost's build so I think I'll go for something similar.
You'll be lucky, I ordered mine the week before Christmas and it hasn't arrived yet even though it said it was in stock. On another note with all this talk of the new Pomp frame I'd be pretty cheesed if mine arrives and it's the non wishbone stay model.
