At the end of last tax year I was asked to sign a statement declaring that I had used my cycle to work scheme bike for more than 50% of my commuting miles. Failure to do this would render me liable for the tax saved under the scheme.
If you sold the bike and the tax man asked for such a statement from you then you could always lie. There is only a small chance that you would be found out. But: tax evasion is serous shit, it's something that will prompt them to go for the throat in a big way. You can bugger an MP and get less time inside. So think carefully. -

Not the lightest of frame sets, at 2.8kg, but not a bad deal at the price.

I have a wariness for:
School run mums, late and screaming at the kids.
Wasps down the neck of my shirt and stinging me repeatedly on the chest (happened, and has instilled a healthy dislike of the vicious little bastards).
Twat drivers yabbering on a moby.
I wouldn't say that I am in fear of any of the above, or similar hazards, I am just aware and wary.
However, having been deliberately run down, shot at with a catapult, and punched,in the past, I have a low level fear of drivers in an apoplectic rage. Normally prompted by me doing nothing more than overtaking them in traffic.
Those suckers really are scary. -
Stupidly let the wife talk me into selling my 54cm Singlecross a few months back. Missing it too much so now looking for one if anyone has one they are thinking of getting rid of.
Hopeful I know.
Cheers.
