Sorry I re-read this and didnt fully understand your question. The answer is still yes but I think most Hed rims are 16 spoke, certainly mine are so you would be needing either a 16 or 32 hole hub. If you chose the latter you might need to lace the spokes in tricross, as they are designed to go with Hed hubs and Hed spokes. Pistanator succesfully made a fixed gear wheel from a Corima rim which is similar to Hed, although I can't remember what hub he used, probably a Phil, knowing him!

A precedent Mr. President, when I split my beater I'll sell it in 547 different posts, listing individual bolt sizes and part numbers,:).

The dent is really unnoticeable, it had to be pointed out, and even then I coulldn't detect it without a spirit level. It's underneath the downtube. It's too small for you though, there's something odd about the way they measured it. Bring a centimetre tape, is my advice!
