Any suggestions for training plans for juniors? My 13 year old son is wanting to put a plan together for 800 and 1500 which he’ll compete in over the summer. He’s well into the data and currently reading Jack Daniels but this for adults and volume is too much.

How is the GDPR in effect if I can just type in any bib number and post that person’s photos to my FB profile?

My sons both got told they would be disqualified because they had folded their bib numbers over and obscured the sponsor name ... this in the U13 race. (They wanted their club logo showing, not an attempt at aero-gainz)

It seemed a bit draconian but the subsequent requirement for full facebook access in order to see the photos now adds up.. still a little unpalatable.

I just told them to stop whinging, if they’d finished in the top three they could have seen their photo in Athletics weekly.

Thanks for the replies.. I really want numbers on the dial. It might be an awful reflection on my intelligence, but without numbers I do think it takes me a fraction of a second to process what time i’m reading. It’s only the hour markers that seem to bother me and only a minuscule inconvenience but it bothers me. Maybe years of wearing a digital but I like the least amount of useful information displayed as clearly as possible (this doesn’t sound quite right but you get what I mean)

The Archimedes ticks all the boxes.. Speedbird I’ve thought about but I couldn’t live with the script font logo!

I have one with the fixed 50 (I think) - almost comically small but can produce decent shots - of the lenses they released for it I think only two are ‘serious’ with the other being toy lense or fisheye.

Big drawback for me is no viewfinder - can buy a hotshoe mount view finder but very expensive

If anyone has a sonos speaker going cheap I might be interested.. seems like one by the router might make sense if I can get one cheap enough.

I bought a cheapo Wi-Fi repeater to solve issues with connection to the back of our house.

Renamed the resulting network to match existing (as per instructions) and all hunky dory and whizzing away except the (only) Sonos device in the house which seems to be sporadic at best..

I’ve googled and apparently latency is my issue.. much discussion of Mesh etc..

I have a few possibilities as far as I can see.. all more speedy than I wish, anyone got any experience of this or an opinion on how proceed;

1. Plug-socket network device thing and connect the Sonos to router like this?

2. Buy additional Sonos speaker for the room with router, hard wire this and let this communicate with the existing speaker?

3. Sack the repeater and buy something which creates a mesh network
