I’m constantly searching these..
I use ‘dual-time’ ‘world-time’ ‘GMT’ ‘UTC’
Bell and Ross is good - likely on my list in the future.
I have a real soft-spot for the ‘Steve McQueen’ explorers.
Another vote for Sinn also.. I like the 144 with 12 hour GMT but could be a bit busy depending on your preference.
It can be done with a 12-hour rotating bezel also (obvs won’t tell you AM/PM).
The functionality of the movement can be important - whether you can set the main time without impacting the secondary - or vice versa.. in this respect it sounds like Rolex have this covered.
The ‘steel’ Casio world time watch also looks pretty good to be honest but not sure it displays 2 times concurrently— generally I prefer just to be able to glance down rather than press buttons to access the second time.
Wow - I’ve bored myself now! Let us know which direction you’re thinking.

Is there any reason for a date to be ‘angled’ apart from design of dial / clarity etc.
I ask because my Benarus has the date window between 4 and 5 — and annoyingly not equidistant between them.
My assumption is that the date has to be at a certain distance from centre.. this would explain that it would clash with numbers/markers on the dial.. but presumably could be at any angle on the face?

Survived.
The weather made my life easier and the kit list was very helpful.
My son was not the most patient partner when there’s work to be done.. and less content than me to just sit and admire the view, but he’s already asking when we can go camping again so i’ll take it as a win.
Campsite was £7.50 for the night for us both.!

I’m planning a one-night campsite trip this Saturday for myself and my three-year-old son..
Rest of family is away so I thought a night under canvas ‘might’ be fun.
Am I mad? We’d be in a small tent with only bare essentials .. my concern is that keeping him entertained and comfortable will be challenging (especially if the weather turns sour).
I’ll be in the car so we have a plan B if needed.
He’s camped before but in a camper van with a few more mod-cons and distractions, plus his older brothers to entertain him.
I guess I’m questioning my own ability to keep him amused without the usual fallbacks.

Some reference shots - the Rado is tiny.
My wonderfully delicate wrists add to the impression of heft also. #millsandboon
