All the Swiss are against grey market, and Rolex particularly so. I can't even sell a new Rolex in my store in Abingdon even though we have two Rolex showrooms. My client would have to go to one of the stores where the stock is held.
The warranties are electronically activated at the store where the watch is. Only then are they valid.
My comment wasn't with buying online but the source of online. ( we sell online, certain brands)

ahhhh the internet. So grey market non authorised dealer, with the warranties already activated as only a genuine stockists is valid. I suppose you pay your money, you takes your chances.

Buy boggo standard . Manual wind, plain ( not racing or anything "special") dial, hesalite crystal. That's the only true Moonwatch. Regardless of what Omega lists in the catalogue.

Consider yourself lucky. I have 3 Maine coon and came home to find a dead squirrel in the washing up bowl and a live one in the shoe rack.

only modification is new grips and a Selle Italia "cutout" saddle
Brilliant piece of kit that I honestly thought I would use more.

small by modern standards say 34/36mm. But doesn't look silly. I quite happily go between moonwatch and this watch.

Would want £800 . It had nearly £500 spent on it at STS and had a two year warranty.
Its like new. And it's birth year watch for me so only really selling as I have to. ( my nearly new Brompton going as well ) Got to fund Speedmaster Apollo 17 we got coming in!

With the imminent arrival of a rather special Omega for me I need to move this on....

I know , it's devaluing it a bit in my mind. When they relaunched 3yrs ago they stood apart bit now with the use of Beckham ( who did adverts for Breitling) they are much more mainstream once again.
And please come up with something other than Black Bay heritage ( steel/Dark/Bronze/coloured/chrono)

I think Tudor should call time on heritage Black Bay. It really has been done to death now.

There was a metallicy brown / havana gold one on a croc strap I believe. Now discontinued as Planet Ocean range was heavily revised this year.

Got some interesting bits coming soon, if anybody wants a green anniversary Submariner I should have one by end of week.
Also I have one of these just arrived even though we were told we wouldn't get another, as limited edition.
