we are starting and ending at Favela chic, its opposite the foundary on great eastern street. Meet us there at 7pm.
Also, I have a desperate plea to make:
Please, oh please, no Cyndi Lauper on the playlist.
I will actually cry if we have to listen to 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' as we ride around.
I most certainly won't be having fun! Not that I'm a surly girl's bike ride grinch, but you gotta have standards. -
have you tried bullhorns with a normal drop lever on the underside? ie on the bit of the bar that points forwards and with the lever facing away from you?
Know what I mean? It means you can ride in different positions and don't have to stretch so far to reach aero brakes mounted on the end of the bars. -

Hmm... they are ugly though aren't they? I'd prefer to get a silver clamp rather than a black one, but you're right that its cheaper just to buy the clamp and use it with stuff I already have.
Still, I didn't notice that your's looked particularly bad, Vic.
Just looked at njsframes.blogspot. Yikes! They have lots of nice stuff.
None of which I actually need, or can afford! -
I'm buying a rather nice track frame from my friend (as long as he doesn't change his mind and decide to keep it)
and I definitely don't want to drill it but I do want to ride with a front brake.
Does anyone know if the dia comp clamp on kit is a good bet?

bugger! really? I was just reading an old thread on here (posted in January - about needing a third person for a triathlon team) and someone on there said he'd done one before and spotted people on all kinds of bike, including fixed.
I guess I'm gonna have to find out. Would be a major pain if I can't ride fixed as I've already comitted to do it for charity, and I don't have another bike!
Or........maybe I can just attach a rear brake? That should sort satisfy the rule makers
