I guess I'm gonna have to find out. Would be a major pain if I can't ride fixed as I've already comitted to do it for charity, and I don't have another bike!

have you tried bullhorns with a normal drop lever on the underside? ie on the bit of the bar that points forwards and with the lever facing away from you?
Know what I mean? It means you can ride in different positions and don't have to stretch so far to reach aero brakes mounted on the end of the bars.

Hmm... they are ugly though aren't they? I'd prefer to get a silver clamp rather than a black one, but you're right that its cheaper just to buy the clamp and use it with stuff I already have.
